InfraGard National Members Alliance | Member (2025)
InfraGard is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and private sector members to protect the U.S. Critical Infrastructure. InfraGard connects owners and operators within critical infrastructure to the FBI through seamless collaboration to provide education, information sharing, networking, and workshops on emerging technologies and threats. InfraGard's membership includes: business executives, entrepreneurs, lawyers, security personnel, military and government officials, IT professionals, academia, and state and local law enforcement - all dedicated to contributing industry-specific insight and advancing national security.

ASIS International | American Society for Industrial Security - Member (2022)
Founded in 1955, ASIS International is a global community of security practitioners, each of whom has a role in the protection of assets - people, property, and/or information. Our members represent virtually every industry in the public and private sectors, and organizations of all sizes. From entry-level managers to CSOs to CEOs, from security veterans to consultants and those transitioning from law enforcement or the military, the ASIS community is global and diverse.

ASIS International | South Dakota Chapter | Chapter Chair (2024)
- Guide and direct the primary functions of the chapter's operations.
- Preside over all chapter meetings, functions, and events.
- Performs the duties usually associated with a CEO of a company.
- Under the direction of the Regional Leadership and the Board of Directors, various management functions are performed to meet the chapter's and the organization's goals and objectives.
- Reporting link between the chapter and the Regional Leadership/ASIS HQ.
- Use considerable independent judgment in decisions that influence operations at the
chapter level to ensure the solvency of the chapter and ROI to chapter members.
- Ensure compliance with ASIS chapter activity and financial reporting requirements.
- Appoint chapter committee chairs.

My inspiration to become a sponsor to a child was the COVID-19 pandemic and realizing just how blessed and grateful I should be for the life I was given. Below is an outcry I made on Facebook to reach out and inspire more individuals to become sponsors.
"This global pandemic has really put me in a state of deep thought of how hard it really must be for many that are struggling out there in the world whether there is a pandemic going on or not. Thousands if not millions not having the means to really get a chance at life. For many of us this has probably been the most challenging time we have ever had to go through emotionally, physically, and probably financially. Thinking this through and catching myself slipping at times thinking like a victim of circumstance for the things going on in the world around me, I recaught myself and realized just how insanely blessed my life truly is. I decided today I will not live another day on this Earth not trying to do my best to show gratitude for the life I was given. From this day on I decided to take a step in giving the little bit I can back to those who aren’t getting their true shot at life whether a global pandemic is going on or not. I hope this outreach inspires more to follow along and donate today or simply just live with more gratitude. I know my sponsor child Mawapwe Joel Bakonte is probably living his best life right now so let’s do our part in living ours."

Creator of the Beta Burger Bash for the Vermillion Food Pantry - Beta Theta Pi Organization (2016 - 2019)
In my position as the philanthropic head for the Gamma Alpha Chapter of Beta Theta Pi at the University of South Dakota I was in charge of successfully organizing, planning, and marketing an annual event in which I started, known as the Beta Burger Bash, that raises over approximately a $1,000 every year for the Vermillion Food Pantry or another Vermillion organization of choice.

Volunteer - United Methodist Church, Open Meal - Beta Theta Pi Organization (2016 - 2019)
During my active term as president of the Beta Theta Pi Gamma Alpha Chapter at the University of South Dakota I enacted an initiative that required all members of the organization to volunteer to help two Mondays of every month with the United Methodist Church open meal to the community.

Missionary - Mitchell Christian School (2014)
I collaborated with a small group of young individuals on a missions trip in San Juan Puerto Rico to help deliver needed resources to a poverty-stricken area, and worked to improve some of the constructional flaws in the design of one of the local churches. I was also able to provide companionship to some of the local children of ill homes, while also delivering a hopeful message of the Gospel, and displaying a positive attitude throughout the entire process.

I was a part of an organization that was sanctioned through school that provided companionship once a week to an elderly citizen living alone in the Stickney, SD. area where I grew up. Visits included simply communicating with resident, helping with everyday needs, and doing things the sponsored individual enjoyed.
